Dear Ms Lim,

Thank you for teaching Andre! You have definitely built a strong foundation in his Chinese and also in the process made him interested in the subject. It is this good foundation and interest that has enabled him to continue to do well in secondary school and be admitted into the BSP program in HCI.

Ms Lim is truly a good Chinese teacher! Her tuition classes helped me become more fluent in Chinese in both writing and speaking, and they also greatly improved my Chinese grades, as well as allowing me to appreciate the Chinese language better.

Lin lao shi is a very kind teacher. She is serious when teaching, and at the same time, incorporates good measures to engage students during lessons. I think the way lessons are conducted are systematic and clear, which makes learning easier.

林老师 is a highly qualified teacher that has taught me how to read, speak and write Chinese more fluently and naturally! My Chinese ability has definitely improved through her teaching methods and worksheets.

Lin laoshi taught all 3 of my kids. She is a competent teacher with good knowledge of the syllabus. She is able to explain the Chinese phrases well and the children enjoy her lessons.

林老师 tuition has helped me to improve my grades and understand the Chinese topics more. I enjoy coming to class every week because most of the times 林老师 will prepare fun and interesting games related to the Chinese topics and improve my understanding. Her revision notes are also very useful as she combines all the hard words in the Chinese syllabus and makes us revise them as preparation for our year end exams.

Miss Lim uses innovative methods to help me remember Chinese characters and their meanings. I enjoyed her class a lot and my Chinese standard improved greatly.

My eldest daughter whom was formerly from NYPS struggled tremendously with her Chinese language till P5. Had a few tutors to help her but all didn’t work out. By words of mouth, her badminton coach recommended Ms. Lim to me. Initially, she expressed that she can’t take in anymore P6 student. With a great heart, she took her in even though my daughter has less than a year to boost. End of the day, my daughter came back with an A for normal Chinese. I’m very thankful for Ms. Lim’s kindness and her commitment to help the students.

And from my daughter, she began to enjoy learning Chinese under the coaching of Ms. Lim. This is crucial and important where she understands the new generation by injecting fun in learning, creates interest within oneself instead of taking it as another subject to memorize.

My son, 维健，has been taught by 林老师 since end P2. Learning Chinese has always been challenging for him since we do not speak Mandarin at home. I feel he has benefited from 老师’s systematic approach to teaching 作文 and 口试…memorizing the simple sentences at lower primary and progressing to more complex sentences at the upper levels. 老师’s encouragement and guidance gave him confidence and prepared him well for his PSLE. I am grateful to have 老师 walked this journey with him. 谢谢妳老师！
